About Me

I'm a nerd living in Saint Paul, MN, making the best out of life, while working hard. I work as a Software Engineer at Minnesota Public Radio. I'm a curious person who enjoys taking on various projects. I like to go kayak fishing, take care of my animals (two dogs and flock of hens), and plan Dungeons & Dragons adventures. I'm a tinkerer, and I love sharing what I discover.

My name is pronounced: Tsimnuj: "Chee-nu"; Hawj: "Hur".

Things I'm Working On
Fishdex I like to take notes on the fish I catch throughout the season. I also like having access to lake stocking information so I can decide which lakes are worth a trip. This is a pet project of mine that leverages Minnesota DNR data to support my needs as a kayak angler. It also has additional features that the Minnesota DNR FishFinder does not provide.
